Finally, an informed advocate for your cancer recovery
If you’re navigating life during or after cancer treatment, you already know what real strength looks like. But rebuilding your body—and your confidence—can feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in. As a certified CancerFit trainer, I specialize in gentle, effective movement tailored for survivors like you. Whether you’re dealing with fatigue, loss of strength, joint stiffness, or just haven’t felt like yourself in a while, we’ll meet your body where it’s at and move forward.
You’re ready to make progress. But where do you begin?
Maybe it’s been a while since you’ve exercised, or maybe your body feels different after treatment and you're not sure what’s safe anymore. You might be feeling motivated one day and exhausted the next—and that’s completely normal. The good news? You don’t need a perfect plan or perfect energy. You just need a place to start, and a guide who understands what you're going through.
I understand how cancer and chemotherapy can affect your body (and your mind) when it comes to exercise. Following the CancerFit program allows me to meet you at your level and help you progress at your own pace. The CancerFit training is a complete system that includes cardiovascular health, resistance training, and balance training.

It’s the gold standard of TENS units among physical therapists and used by some of the world best athletes for their own performance and recovery. Now it’s available to you to get you feeling stronger than you thought possible. The gentle current will activate muscles as if they were lifting weights, enabling you to get stronger using little to no weights!

We’ll be doing a combination of pain management and therapeutic exercise.
It’s hard to exercise when you’re in pain, so we’ll start by using the electrical stimulation (e-stim) to help you feel better. Then we’ll go through a series of exercises designed to help your cardio, strength, and balance
-
Yes! And you should. Exercising will help increase your energy and you’ll feel more pep in your step after the very first workout.
No matter what kind of shape you’re in, I can meet you where you’re at and help you move from illness to wellness
-
Not at all! The stimulation is only there to activate muscles. We’ll work together to decide what feels like the right amount of power on the machine.
Typically, we’ll have you rate the intensity on a scale of 1-10. A 1 or a 2 might mean you feel the current softly buzzing. A 5 or 6 is when you begin to feel and see the muscles contract. And a 7 or 8 is what I might call “hot tub hot”, or something like when you step into a hot tub and go “Oooh! This is intense but I’m okay.”
-
No, we don’t have to use the e-stim machine during our CancerFit sessions. In fact, CancerFit does not need the machines for the program to be successful.
However, as someone who has worked with people who have conditions like MS, neuropathy, and chronic pain, I know how impactful the e-stim can be to get someone feeling better quickly.
