The Innervation Team

Clay Edgin

Over the last 15 years of being a strength coach, gym owner, and rehab specialist, I have amassed over 25,000 hours of in person training experience. What I enjoy the most is taking this vast experience and delivering it to beginner and intermediate lifters on what will work best for their body.

I’ve competed in nearly 100 strength competitions in six countries around the world, setting multiple State, National, and World Records in sports like powerlifting, strongman, and grip strength. I also spent some time as a performing strongman doing feats of strength in public and was even featured on Spike TV’s “Deadliest Warrior” television program.

Since the beginning of my journey over 20 years ago, I have lost over 100 lbs and have made it my life's mission to help people feel empowered by their bodies by giving them simple technique instruction, responsibly programmed exercises, and a finely tuned coaching eye.

My real passion is using things like PEMF, infrared light therapy, frequency specific microcurrent, and electrical stimulation to help people supercharge their recovery and get back to doing the things they love. I have a well appointed rehab studio in my home where I see clients for everything from Parkinson's to joint pain.

In my spare time, I love playing golf, writing, hanging out with my two sons, and paddle boarding. I also volunteer with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, SAFE Alliance, National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Central Texas Mycological Society, and Fitness for Focus.

I train in person clients at Iron Vault Gym, 2101 W Ben White in South Austin and online.
